Style for me has always been a daily source of inspiration. I've been playing around with colors and textures since I was a little girl, learning from my mother's chic aesthetic and her fashion magazines. After I graduated from high school, with its dress code and other restrictions, I was able to let my creativity run free. And as I transitioned into college, I began to let myself take more fashion risks. I thrifted like the world was ending. I took delight in putting together prints I knew didn't exactly jive. And I really threw my hair and makeup to the wind! Looking back, I'm glad I let myself have fun and I'm glad I took these risks.
Over the last six months, I've become a healthier and happier me. Read about my journey here. As my body and mind have transformed, I've allowed myself to find my true sense of style. Diane Von Furstenberg once said, "Style is something each of us already has, all we need to do is find it." My aesthetic is finally exactly where I always felt it should be, all because I've found myself. With confidence and happiness from within, true style simply follows suit.
