Every October, I find some way to get involved during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer has directly affected my family, and as the most prevalent cancer in the world today, 1.3 million other people are directly affected by diagnosis every single year. The cause is unknown, and at this time, there is no cure. Click here for more information.
But there is hope. Thanks to heightened awareness, early detection through screening, improved treatment methods and increased access to breast health services, people have a greater chance of survival than ever before. Every year, I run or walk the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure in Brentwood, Tennessee. This year, you can donate to my family's team or join us! We will be six people strong, plus three puppies! Every single dollar helps. This month's Lust List is filled with stylish items benefitting breast cancer research. Get to shopping!
