#WhyNFW 2016: Education Panels

Today, Nashville Fashion Week is presenting the 2016 Education Panels, "The Business of Fashion: The Process, Progress & Pivot." The panels will be hosted at Nashville's City Winery and will discuss how to launch/grow a business or fashion concept, how to adapt in a tech-forward world of communication, and how to re-brand or change directions after already being well-established.

I'm proud to have been the Event Coordinator for this year's panels featuring speakers Gavin Ivester, Julianna Bass, Manuel Cuevas, Lagi Nadeau, Dawn Robertson, and many others. Click here to learn about all of the 2016 moderators and speakers. I'm also very proud to be wearing a dress by Elizabeth Suzann, topped off with local accessories from Nisolo and Branded Collective.

#WhyNFW 2016: East Meets West - Designer Runway Show

Today is the first day of the sixth annual Nashville Fashion Week! The opening event is East Meets West, a designer runway show, at Studio 615. Four designers will present their collections: Francesca MarottaBrooke Atwood, Michael Drummond and Kallmeyer New York.

Tonight, I'm proud to be wearing a high-neck, lacy little number from Nashville's own Council Studio in Hillsboro Village, as well as custom gypsy hoops by Margaret Ellis Jewelry. To complete the look, I'm carrying one the most recent stunning designs by local handbag designer Ceri Hoover, courtesy of Stacey Rhodes Boutique. I can't wait to see everyone tonight!
