With my mind filled with workout schedules, travel plans, and upcoming fashion events, my wardrobe has really simplified. I've begun to covet my soft jersey pieces and longer midi hemlines for running errands and conquering my to-do lists. Even these little black booties are keeping me steady on my feet. Looking ahead to Nashville Fashion Week, all I want to do is switch from blue and black to white and beige. Does this mean winter is ending and my infatuation for all basics white and breezy is returning? I sure hope so.
If you're in Nashville and not planning on coming to at least some of Nashville Fashion Week...think again! This will be the fifth annual NFW, and it's something to look forward to every year. This year features so many exciting new events. Opening night houses a Nashville Designer Showcase at Lower Broadway's Acme Feed & Seed with the required after party on the rooftop. Night two is Accessories as Art Installation and Cocktail Party at The Cordelle. Thursday features Design + Fashion featuring Herb Williams at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, and Friday showcases the Fall/Winter 2015 Ready-to-Wear Runway Show at John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. Saturday includes the Fashion & Technology Industry Panels at City Winery, and NFW ends with the second annual Nashville Fashion Forward Gala at The Rosewall and Closing Night Party at Citizen. Leggo!
